A celebration of all things Welsh!

We know that traditional welsh cakes are always a winner on St Davids Day, but maybe you’d like to try something a little more adventurous. The 1st of March is the day we celebrate the patron Saint of Wales, Dewi Sant. We have many items which would make fabulous cupcake toppers, such as a Welsh Dragon mould and Daffodil and Leek stencils.
If you’re after something quick and easy, the Daffodil sugar pipings from Culpitt are ideal for adding instant décor to your treats. If you’d prefer to do it all yourself then the Daffodil mould by FPC is always popular, and so simple to use. Just pop your modelling paste into the mould and you have yourself a host of golden daffodils in no time. Keeping with the daffodil theme, why not try your hand at making some more realistic 3D buds with the aid of the FMM Daffodil cutters.
Be it biscuits, cupcakes or a celebration cake, we have so many items available at your fingertips to make life that bit easier. The Welsh lovespoon mould is especially great for creating treats for a loved one, or how about a simple stencil print to mark the day.
The Red Dragon is a symbol we hold dear to our hearts, and so why not make your own little characters using modelling paste, and perhaps a cute little sheep or two!
It's a day to celebrate all things Welsh, and we'll be wearing our daffodils with pride, whilst munching on some tasty home made treats!
Happy St Davids day to you all – Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus i chi gyd.
