It's not long until Mother's Day and all mums need to be spoilt! What better way than with cake! There's lots of really fun and unique ideas out there for edible goodies and this year we're loving edible flower bouquets!
So why not make her a bunch of edible flowers! There's so many ways to do it, including cupcakes and cake pops as well as sugar flowers.
For cupcakes we've found two great ideas; you can either arrange the cupcake to look like a bouquet with some fondant 'stems' or this gorgeous arrangement that looks like a rose bush on top of a flower pot! This is surprisingly easy to do. Check out this pin on our Mother's Day Pinterest board which shows you how to do it.
We also love these beautiful, delicate-looking rose cake pops which would make a stunning looking bouquet if they were bundled together. To recreate this style of rose cake pops check out the YouTube video below for a great guide to making them. We have of course got everything you need to make your cake pops from cake pop sticks to cake pop stands. Why not try a flavoured icing from Sugar and Crumbs to add a little extra wow factor?
Sugar flowers are another great way to give your Mum a bunch of beautiful edible flowers and we love this cute idea for flower pot cupcakes! There are loads of great products you can use to achieve this including a huge range of flower and modelling pastes, colourings and for extra wow-factor lots of different shimmers and sparkles.
Don't forget to check out our Pinterest board for all this and loads of other great ideas to spoil your mum.
You could even enter our Cake of the Month competition!
