E-Commerce AssistantWe're looking for a new member of our business development team! Our new colleague will have ideally worked within e-commerce for a fast-paced business, will have excellent numeracy and communication skills and a love of working collaboratively with a friendly team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with interests in e-commerce and social media marketing to join a company at an exciting stage of their growth with the chance to grow the role and make it their own. Main Responsibilities: - Creating and maintaining detailed product descriptions and website content
- Uploading and updating product images and pricing
- Taking charge of some of our existing suppliers to include re-ordering existing products, keeping up to date with new launches, managing inventory and product listing
- Managing our social media channels including Facebook and Instagram – including creating and scheduling content
- Contributing to content marketing with articles about cake decorating
- Attending trade shows twice a year and working alongside the team on the stand for 3 days per show
- Helping to plan our trade show stands alongside the team
- Assisting with other areas of the business as required
Essential Skills: - Competent use of Excel is necessary
- Experience using a CMS or BigCommerce
- Good level of written English and grammar
- Experience of managing or contributing to social media channels, in particular Facebook and Instagram
- Organisation & eye for detail
- Reliable and committed to attending work on time
- Strong communication skills & flexible attitude
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Self-Motivated, self-starter with a drive for results
- Ability to work autonomously
- Willingness to learn new skills
Desirable Skills & Knowledge - Basic knowledge of SEO
- Experience writing website copy
- Experience of photoshop and Illustrator
Salary & Hours: - Hourly Rate £10.30
- Full time – 37.5 hours a week
